Father Joshua Voitus has begun sharing the
Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love message with families at St. Mary in
Sylva. Parishioners are eager to hear about the commitment the
diocese is making towards college campus ministries and to pledge their
support to this initiative.
St. Michael
in Gastonia hosted its first leadership meeting to begin spreading the news of
Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love. In addition to the importance of addressing their own building debt,
Fr. Matthew Buettner and lay leaders firmly believe that families will respond positively to this important work of diocesan-wide charity.
More than 20 parish families joined
Fr. Carmen Malacari and the Ambassador Team for a special reception. The
Holy Spirit community has grown from 375 families to more than 600
in recent years. Fr. Carmen shared he felt “energized and alive to be
witnessing such vibrant and tremendous growth” in the
Denver community and throughout western North Carolina.
Our Lady of Guadalupe in Charlotte hosted
a very successful campaign announcement this past week. To date, the
effort has raised more than $380,000 from personal visits
with families. Many of Fr. Vincent Finnerty’s parishioners
benefit from Multicultural Ministries and they are glad to be able to
give other Catholics more of an opportunity to do the same.
Fr. Pat Cahill hosted 116 families at a Parish Wide Kick-off on Wednesday evening at
St. Eugene in Asheville. Asheville
Catholic parents and St. Eugene parishioners were excited to hear about
the new addition to the school and the broader ministries Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love supports.
Our Lady of the Angels in Marion started campaigning this weekend. Fr. Carl Kaltreider is
excited to see how well the parish does in the campaign. He
hosted the public announcement this weekend to share the details of the
campaign, and will show the new campaign video this coming weekend.
Fr. James Stuhrenberg at St. Francis of Assisi in Jefferson and St.
Frances of Rome in Sparta began his campaign efforts this week at both parishes by meeting one-on-one with parishioners to share the details of
Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love. Father James looks forward to inspiring participation at both parishes.
