Campaign Exceeds 50% of Overall TargetThe Campaign reached a milestone this week, with over $32.5 million raised toward the goal of $65 million. Many blessings have come from this effort: generous gifts of time, talent and treasure offered by both priests and parishioners; opportunities to learn about the love that people have for God and their Church; and stronger parish communities that come together to build God’s kingdom on earth in the Diocese of Charlotte. This is particularly impressive since 22 of the Block 1 parishes have not yet finished their campaigns and many of the Block 2 parishes are only in the planning phase of their local campaign. Exceeding 50% of the goal before introducing the Campaign in over 50% of the parishes is very exciting and is a strong indicator for continued success in 2014. Congratulations and thank you to all of our pastors, leadership, ambassadors, and donors. We hope you had a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year! |
