St. Peter in Charlotte welcomed gifts totaling more than $130,000 during its Commitment Weekend. Families in attendance were inspired to make sacrificial gifts to benefit not just St. Peter’s future, but also the 360,000 Catholics throughout western North Carolina.
Fr. Michael Buttner and Fr. Steve Hoyt completed their Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love campaign, which helped Holy Family in Clemmons garner more than $1,460,000 from 345 families. Holy Family looks forward to utilizing their share of funds to grow their youth ministry.
Fr. Frank O’Rourke celebrates the success of Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love at St. Gabriel in Charlotte, which secured more than $2,630,000 in five year commitments. The parish plans to use the more than $500,000 returning to St. Gabriel for parish ministries and general upkeep of the parish and school’s facilities.
The Leadership Team at St. Matthew in Charlotte hosted their first in-pew appeal. More than 250 families participated in Commitment Weekend raising an additional $723,342 towards the St. Matthew campaign target. A member of the Leadership Team expressed his appreciation to the generous members of the parish and spoke about the growing population, “This campaign was about the mission of our faith, right here in our hometown and throughout western North Carolina. We are blessed that our faith is growing here close to home.”
Fr. Carl Del Giudice and the Leadership Committee at Our Lady of Consolation in Charlotte look forward to sharing this transformative initiative with the greater parish families. The parish share will be used to continue making repairs and renovations to the campus.
